We Care are strong supporters of the aims and principles of the Permanency Support Program, and the recommendations and findings of the Bringing Them Home Report, Family is Culture Report, and the Closing the Gap findings. As such, We Care understands the importance of addressing child protection concerns and providing targeted supports to transition children back home to family and kin where safe and possible to do so.

We Care are able to complete robust restoration assessments through their team of clinical and child protection experts to assist in understanding whether it is safe and possible for children to return home to family members.

Where the Court has made a decision that children are safe to return home as the permanency goal. We Care are able to work together with the child, family, kinship groups and formal and informal community supports to develop and implement a robust restoration plan that provides both in home supports, training, development, counselling and coaching to ensure a successful and positive transition that upholds the needs and rights of all involved.
