Support
Behaviour Support is used to improve the quality of life for our clients and their families.
It involves equipping you with the right skills to build beneficial and lasting relationships with friends and family.
This is achieved by:
- Considering all aspects of your life
- Involving you and producing person centred plans
- Providing a preventative and supportive approach
- Developing strategies to build new skills
- Creating a supportive environment to engage and participate
- Building your abilities to replace challenging behaviours
- Generate an approach to increase community engagement and activities
We understand healthy relationships are a vital component of your health and wellbeing. Our approach to Behaviour Support is responsive to people’s needs through the creation of individual strategies for people to live their best lives, without the need for the use of regulated restrictive practices. A restrictive practice is
a practice that is used to limit or control an individual’s behaviour. These practices are always used as a last resort to ensure the safety of the client and others around them.

In general, you will need at least 25 hours of funding for Behaviour Support. Alternatively, some complex plans will need over 60 hours to provide comprehensive support and training and ensure all reporting to the Commission is completed.
Feel like you, or someone you care about, could benefit from Behavioural Support? You do not have to have NDIS funding to access our behaviour support services as service quotes for anyone can be provided. Please note there are no Medicare rebates available for behaviour support.
