Individual Assessment, Therapy and Training

We offer the complete care package for infants through to those of 60 years of age, from any ethnic background who suffer from a mental illness, intellectual or physical disability. We partner with you to put together a personalised support package to enable you to be as independent as possible and live the life you want.

• Various assessments – e.g. mental health, cognitive, adaptive, behavioural
• Social skills training, psychoeducation on relationships, sexuality etc
• Skill development for managing emotions, problem-solving, interpersonal conflicts
• Behavioural support, positive parenting and attachment strategies, if not funded under improved relationships

Speech Therapy:

• Communication Assessments
• Language and development and learning strategies (assistive technology)
• Social and communication skills
• Swallowing and mealtime management plans

Occupational Therapy:

• Sensory assessments
• Functional mobility assessments
• Assessment for equipment
• Increased mobility, play, leisure and learning strategies

Assessments:

• Cognitive and adaptive functioning assessments
• Mental health assessments
• Autism Assessments
• Behavioural assessments

Training:

• Positive behaviour support
• Managing challenging behaviours
• Supporting individuals with complex trauma
• Culturally appropriate provision of Allied Health supports
