What is the difference between a psychologist and a behaviour support practitioner?

A psychologist is a professional trained in the science of how people think, feel, behave and learn. In Australia, psychology is a regulated profession and psychologists are required to keep up to date with evidence-based research through their professional development requirements.

A Behaviour support practitioner is experienced in the area of behaviour support and can have varying qualifications and professional registration groups.
